This Privacy Policy explains how GENAZ PTE. LTD. (UEN 202517498Z), Singapore, the operator of PetKiddies (“we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit petkiddies.com. GENAZ PTE. LTD. is the data controller of personal data collected through this website and the organisation responsible for it under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). We comply with the PDPA and, where they apply, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA).

Data we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address and message when you contact us.
  • Automatically collected: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, approximate location and timestamps, via server logs, cookies and similar technologies.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not sell your personal data.

How and why we use data (legal bases)

  • To reply to messages and corrections requests (consent / legitimate interests).
  • To measure and improve the site with analytics (consent where required; otherwise legitimate interests).
  • To earn affiliate commissions, which requires affiliate partners to know a visit came from us (legitimate interests).
  • To keep the site secure and comply with the law (legal obligation / legitimate interests).

Cookies, analytics and affiliate tracking

  • Essential cookies and server logs used by WordPress, our host (Hostinger) and our caching tool (LiteSpeed Cache) to deliver and secure the site.
  • Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit) provides aggregated usage statistics. Google may process data in the United States. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Affiliate tracking: when you click an affiliate link (Amazon Associates, Chewy and other brand affiliate programs), the merchant may set its own cookies to attribute any purchase to us. We do not receive your name or payment details, only aggregated commission reports. Those cookies are governed by the merchant’s privacy policy.
  • Embedded content (for example videos, maps or images from other sites) may set cookies from the provider.
  • Forms: Contact Form 7 (messages are emailed to us).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most of the site will still work without them.

Sharing and international transfers

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting, caching, analytics) and where required by law. Some providers process data outside Singapore, including in the United States and the EU; we rely on their contractual safeguards to provide a comparable standard of protection, as required by the PDPA Transfer Limitation Obligation and Chapter V of the GDPR.

Retention and security

We keep contact messages for up to 24 months and newsletter data until you unsubscribe; analytics data follows Google’s retention settings. We use reasonable security measures, but no internet transmission is completely secure.

Your rights

  • PDPA (Singapore): you may request access to and correction of your personal data, and withdraw your consent at any time.
  • GDPR (EU/UK): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
  • CCPA/CPRA (California): to the extent it applies, you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of analytics or advertising-related sharing, use the opt-out above or your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
